Tortuguero National Park, World known as an important nesting site for Sea Turtles, is also in immense jungle, crisscrossed by canals, going through an evergreen tropical rain forest, a magical experience, only us kayaking,  the huge trees, hundreds of birds, the sounds and  silence of the jungle. 

Since we have a boat escorting the kayakers, this is a tour for the whole family, a little paddling experience is always good. From the comfort of your sea kayak or your sit on the boat you will experience a real wild life adventure.

 -Are you going to Tortuguero? we meet you at La Pavona, and from there we kayak or power boat  until you reach Tortuguero village, fully guided, all gear, fruits and drinks, power safety boat with us. 

-3/4 hours kayaking in one of the most diverse Tropical rain forest on the planet.  

-Fully escorted by a power boat (The Sweeper) the boat keeps a nice distance from the group, but whoever feels tired can be taken into the boat and enjoy the rest of the trip with a drink on the hand.

Important Facts
If you are already in Costa Rica, and on your way to Tortuguero, go direction La Pavona (see map bellow) and you will be greet by our staff, we have all gear and kayaks ready, after a nice briefing we will jump into the kayaks. We start from La Pavona, kayaking a tiny little canal for a nice initiation, this canal meets another canal after a few minutes, and we are already in the Tortuguero National Park canals, an immense Cathedral like rain forest, crisscrossed by canals, we will paddle there for another 1.5 hour, and we stop for a stretching, fruits and drinks, after that back into the kayaks for another hour, reaching Tortuguero village. We have a power boat, following us at a nice distance so we don’t hear or see, but right there in case you want to jump into the boat and enjoy a drink, and continue your journey relax.

The end of the road, La Pavona La Pavona is truly the end of the road, from here on no more roads, only canals and the green jungle. If you are driving or using Buses in Costa Rica, come to Guapiles, from there take the north road to Cariari and then La Pavona, this is the easiest and nicest way to enter Tortuguero. There you have one restaurant, a big parking lot and Us: Aventuras en Costa Rica Sea Kayak Club.
Day 1
Itinerary

This is a unique experience, we go kayaking 3 different canals  through an untouched primary forest, one of the most remarkable jungles in Costa Rica.

1- We start the trip from La Pavona every morning at 8:30 am

2- We kayak for about 1.5 hours, and we stop for a little hike in the jungle, fruits and drinks, we have our boat following the trip, if anyone feels like it may jump in the power boat and go on from there.

After another hour we arrive to Tortuguero down Town, where we finish the trip.
