Aventuras en Costa Rica joins University of Costa Rica

As part of the carrier of Sience of the Movement of the Human Body, students must do a semester of Adventure Sports, we were choosen by the University of Costa Rica, to teach Sea Kayak, a 2 day class on the fundamentals of Sea Kayak, gear-navigation skills and safety planning were part of the class. 

I started kayaking when there was no school in Costa Rica, many years later I get to know ACA through a friend, American Canoe Associatio, since then I been taking instructor clases, rescue classes, not only my paddling completely changed, but it changed my way to see paddling, the way we interact with nature, learning how to properly kayak makes you appreciate better any river, by kayaking with better technique you are more protected, have better judgement on situations, you are more relax, thus having more time to react enjoy the ride. 

We are proud to be working with Universidad de Costa Rica, and will be working in the future, growing closer ties with the academy, in order to learn more from each other, on our common goal of making of Costa Rica a much better place to paddle.
